Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Changemaker Box?

Our Changemaker Boxes come fully equipped with exciting, engaging materials to help activate children in doing more good! Each one is made from recycled paper and decorated with all kinds of hopeful messages. On the side of the box is a perforated slot that when punched out, turns this into an incredible fundraising tool.

What is the Changemaker Map?

The Changemaker Map is an interactive and educational tool with a dual purpose: to help explain big issues and to provide tangible ways for young activists to make a positive impact. The Changemaker Maps are machine washable, tear proof, water proof, and printed in the United States. The canvas carry case is 100% organic.

What is the age range and why for the product?

The Changemaker Boxes were designed with kids ages 5 to 12 in mind. We felt there was a major gap in products and resources for this elementary and early middle school age range, so we chose to step into that need by creating applicable resources for parents, teachers, and the kids themselves.

Why are there nonprofit partners?

Our vision has always been to create a space where both dialogue and impact can occur. By partnering with reputable, trusted nonprofits, we hope to continue educating children on major issues, expanding their exposure to important causes, and providing resources for families on how to get involved.

Why did you choose the partners you did?

As we drafted our partner list, we knew it was incredibly important to align ourselves with nonprofit organizations who are trusted, who have proven impact, and whose mission coincided with the subject matter of the corresponding Changemaker Box. Forming these partnerships was a thorough process, and involved establishing relationships, ensuring mutual brand integrity, and planning for long-term influence.

Will you be expanding topics/themes?

We absolutely hope so! We’re committed to developing the dialogue and resources of the current topics/themes to their fullest capacity before expanding. Each addition will be thoughtful and well prepared prior to its release.

Can I incorporate these materials into my classroom?

The intention for the Changemaker Box is that it can serve as a curriculum supplement to your existing lesson plans, bringing an interactive component to units relating to Peace, Equality, and Environment.

How much is donated to your nonprofit partners and when?

Five percent of each sale is donated directly to the nonprofit partner. We have secured a legal contract with each partner, detailing the established donation timeline and process.

How can I get more involved with the nonprofit partners?

We love that you want to get more involved with our nonprofit partners! We strongly encourage you to visit their individual websites and learn more about their programs. Find out more here:
